CYCLON PREMIUM GRAPHENE HOT WAX

Due to a special additive which is used for aircraft engines in the aircraft industry, among others, Hot Wax has unique properties. The dry lubricant is not only dirt-repellent but also water-resistant. As a result, Hot Wax can be used throughout the cycling season. The lubrication is extremely durable with one lubrication you can cycle up to 1,000 kilometres without re-lubricating.

Due to the weak Van der Waals interactions, the lubricant has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The lubricant offers long-term stable lubrication and can be used at temperatures from -30 to +100 degrees Celsius. The shear strength of the lubricant increases as the coefficient of friction increases. This phenomenon is also known as "super lubrication".

More due to the addition of Graphene, Hot Wax has extremely strong adhesion. With the outstanding lubricating film, you do not suffer from boundary lubrication. Not only does this minimise component wear but this will also virtually eliminate frictional resistance.

You can place the handy tin directly on the heat source. Heat the hot wax between 70 and 80 °C. When you have hot-waxed the chain, you can close the tin again and reuse it. HOW TO USE CYCLON PREMIUM GRAPHENE HOT WAX

Step 01
Remove the chain from the drivetrain and clean it thoroughly. Use CyclOn Bionet Chain Cleaner or CyclOn Plant-Based Chain Cleaner. Rinse with water and dry the chain well. An ultrasonic cleaner will give you a perfectly clean chain.

Step 02
Open the can and heat the wax between 70 and 80°C. Once the wax is liquid, place the chain in it and let the wax work for 10 minutes.

Step 03
Turn off the heat source, wait 30 seconds, and remove the chain. Allow the wax to harden, reinstall the chain, and remove excess wax from the chain's exterior with a dry cloth.

Step 04
After the first ride, excess wax may come out of the chain due to tension. Clean the chain with a dry cloth.

Step 05
After each ride, wipe the chain with a dry cloth without using water or chain cleaner. The chain will remain lubricated for up to 1,000 kilometers.

Step 06
For a repeat treatment, it’s important to fully degrease and clean the chain with a chain degreaser. Cleaning the chain keeps the wax in the can clean and prevents trapped dirt from causing wear due to abrasion.
